Our home is located in the hamlet of Badbury just on the outskirts of Isle Abbotts. Situated a short walk from Posy, our Somerset long house is full of charm and character and exudes the warmth, welcome and relaxed pace that goes with country life. We've lived here for over 45 years and look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful part of Somerset. That said - Posy is your retreat and you won't see us unless you want to. Your closest neighbours will be inquisitive miniature ponies, some friendly sheep and a variety of chickens and ducks.

If it's a unique short-stay experience that you're looking for with a combination of tradition, quality, history and charm, Lower Woodlands shepherd hut is the place for you.
You have two options for breakfast: either everything you need to make your own continental style breakfast in the hut, or a freshly cooked full English breakfast, either delivered to your hut or eaten with us in the kitchen.

For dinner we can recommend some great local pubs and restaurants. If you want to spend as much time as possible in your gorgeous hut, we can cook for your at Lower Woodlands. Please let us know well in advance if you would like to do this.
